Volunteering at Glad Rags in Woodstock, VT

This past weekend, our team spent time volunteering behind the scenes to help prepare for the 122nd Glad Rags Sale in Woodstock. We joined a dedicated group of volunteers to clean, organize, tag, and hang clothing for this long-standing community event that supports local nonprofits, including the Hartford Community Restorative Justice Center.

We are especially grateful to Kitty O’Hara, a longtime volunteer and board member, who has made sure the justice center is part of this event year after year. Opportunities like this create space for our program participants to build relationships, contribute meaningfully, and be part of something that has supported this community for generations.

The sale takes place at the Masonic Temple on Pleasant Street in Woodstock:

Friday, April 24 from 2:00 to 6:00 for the pre-sale

Saturday, April 25 from 9:00 to 2:00 at full price

Sunday, April 26 from 10:00 to 1:00 at half price
