Board Member Spotlight: Alanna Ojibway
Meet Alanna Ojibway, one of HCRJC’s dedicated board members and the Assistant Director of Education and Outreach at the National Center on Restorative Justice at Vermont Law and Graduate School. Alanna first connected with HCRJC as a volunteer, bringing her passion for restorative practices and community engagement to local programs. Over time, her commitment and insight led her to take on a leadership role as a member of our board.
In her professional work, Alanna leads initiatives that advance restorative justice in higher education, support public education, and strengthen the network of restorative practitioners across the country. Her career has also included years in the nonprofit sector in Vermont and New York City, where she focused on issues such as homelessness, substance abuse, domestic violence, mental health, and incarceration. We are grateful for Alanna’s leadership, perspective, and the many ways she continues to strengthen both HCRJC and the restorative justice movement.
